Beaumont Leys football tournament and sport coaching session 2010, Daniel Zahiri interview
On Thursday the 3rd of June EAVA FM attended the Beaumont Leys football tournament and sport coaching session 2010. The event took place at Babington Sports Centre and started on the Tuesday and ended on the Friday of that week. The sports event was a chance for the Somali and Afghan communities to come together and receive football coaching and to also take part in a football tournament for children between the ages of 13-15. The event was sponsored by Stafford and Star. We managed to get an interview with Daniel Zahiri Chairman of the Leicester City’s Afghan Community and this is what he had to say.
