The Blind Side – Part 1 of 12 – *[Movie]


tinyurl.com The Blind Side is an award-winning 2009 American dramasports film written and directed by John Lee Hancock, and based on the 2006 book The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game by Michael Lewis.[2][3] The storyline features Michael Oher, an offensive lineman who plays for the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL. The film follows Oher from his impoverished upbringing, through his years at Wingate Christian School (a fictional representation of Briarcrest Christian School in suburban Memphis, Tennessee[4]), his adoption by Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, and on to his position as one of the most highly coveted prospects in college football. The Great Britain release date for the film has been announced to be March 12, 2010. For her performance, Sandra Bullock won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role as well as receiving an Academy Award for Best Actress nomination. The film itself also received an Academy Award for Best Film nomination. The film stars Quinton Aaron as Michael Oher, Sandra Bullock as Leigh Anne Tuohy, Tim McGraw as Sean Tuohy, Oher’s adoptive parents, and Kathy Bates as Miss Sue, Oher’s tutor.[2] The movie also features appearances by several current and former NCAA coaches, including SEC coaches Houston Nutt and Ed Orgeron (Oher’s coaches in college, though Nutt represented Arkansas at the time and therefore does so in the film) and Nick Saban (who was at LSU at the

Mike Shaw One On One – Recruiting Update


The EYBL Finals at the NIKE Peach Jam is expected to be one of the most exciting week’s of the summer. Held at the Riverview Park Activities Center in North Augusta, SC, the event will feature 24 of the qualifying EYBL 17U teams as well as a separate 16U tournament of 16 teams. The format will continue to provide an exciting basketball format for the hundreds of Division I college coaches and members of the media to scout the top athletes. Mike Shaw is one of the top players in the nation. Mike plays for the Mac Irvin Fire 17U team. This is his last season playing AAU. July is a big month for Big Mike. Mike is still working on a top five or three ranking. Mike Shaw and the Mac Irvin Fire 17U, started the July period off slow. They were in every game at the Nike Peach Jam. Mycheal Henry didn’t make the trip do to a injury and Macari Brooks got hurt in the first game. Mike would like to finish his AAU season off strong. He loves to play with this years’ team. He is looking forward to bouncing back next week. We will keep you up to date on Mike Shaw and The Mac Irvin Fire.
